Once again it seems forever since a front page update but there really wasn't anything worth reporting on.
We have however been killing shit here that are apparently some of the more challenging fights.
General Vezax died.

So did Yogg Saron.

Now its time to do the "Hard Modes" good work to all those involved in the kills.

Well its been ages since a front page update yes we are still alive and yes we are still raping your mothers.
Sartharion and his 3 goons arguably the most difficult encounter in WOTLK so far, holidays have kept us from killing this rather annoying dragon a while ago but its done now and eagerly await new raiding content that will hopefully be at least as challenging as this guy. Although I do feel this fight was more about what classes you bring than raw execution.

Also beware I now have news post privileges you never know what might end up on here.

That's right. Month after month, the battle against the penultimate boss in the Sunwell Plateau has raged on, but finally the great M'uru has been defeated.
M'uru is easily the hardest boss Blizzard has ever put into the game, simply because of one fact: the first phase of the encounter is not random at all, and therefore the tolerance for player error has been tuned to be incredibly small. In other words, if any one of the twenty-five people fighting him make a mistake in those first six minutes, the raid wipes. Then, lets not get into the fact that phase two is harder than phase one.
People are right to call M'uru the slayer of guilds. Fighting him requires massive amounts of time and frustration, as you wait for people to learn phase one so well they can do it with their eyes closed. Swapping in new people because of rotations? Be prepared to wait for them to learn as well. Not to mention the huge amounts of gold and consumables that are thrown at him every attempt. Some, perhaps even most guilds on him will not make it to the other side. The past few weeks have seen guild after guild either disband or sit back and say, "You know what? We'll just sit this one out until Wrath."
But not us. 376 pulls of M'uru later, and Advent Fury proves that it's not so easy to stand in the way of a guild that's been kicking asses and taking names since Onyxia and Ragnaros decided to get uppity. Huge congratulations to everyone who's put in hour after hour of attempts to learn the fight and beat this guy.
